Spotlight On Proudly Announces The Next Great American Playwright Festival
The very best productions from the past two festivals have been selected to return for 3-4 performances in this one week festival. This festival will be a showcase for the best that Spotlight On has to offer to producers and backers in the hope of securing a move to a longer run on Broadway or Off-Broadway.
The Next Great Playwright Festival will culminate with the Spotlight On Awards Celebration which honors the excellence of the artists involved in this year's Spotlight On Festivals.

The 2002-2003 Spotlight On Awards Nominees have been announced!
This year Spotlight On produced 74 events (counting one-act plays: over 100)!! Can Broadway say that? Our awards voters have had a tough time deciding on a select few. This was truly our best year for Quality. The Awards Ceremony will take place on Monday, August 25. 6pm for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres and 7pm for the ceremony. This year's ceremony promises lots of entertainment as well as announcing of the winners. Tickets for the ceremony will be $20. Tickets for this event always sell out; and we are limited for seats. So order soon. If you are a nominee you are limited to 3 tickets per order (we will start a "waiting list" for orders beyond 3). If you are not a nominee but would like to attend we hold the limit to 2 per order. There are also a limited number of Industry seats available (e-mail email@example.com for industry reservations).
The Awards Ceremony will be held at the Chashama Theater at 135 West 42nd St.

THE 2003/2004 SEASON HAS JUST BEGUN!
*Spotlight On is looking for voters for our new season.
Last year Spotlight On produced or was part of 74 productions. Each production is eligible to be nominated for a Spotlight Award. Spotlight Awards encompass many categories (Best production, Best Actor, Best Singer, etc.) Each year we pick 12-18 voters that will attend many of these peformances and vote at the end of the season. As a voter you can see all of our productions for FREE! You can attend our parties and receptions and you will be the guest of honor at our yearly awards ceremony. Welcome to the New and Improved Spotlight On Website!
We have a bunch of new updates to the site.
Stage Pages has been updated with reviews of shows from our most recent Winter Festival. Our Constructive Critic Sherry Braun has been busy checking out as many shows as she could and has reported on what she saw.
We are happy to announce the Spotlight On 2003 Halloween Festival, which will once again be held at Chashama Theatres from October 5 to November 2. The application is now available!! But hurry, the deadline is May 20th!! (Late Application: June 20)
