Spotlight On Productions and Frank Calo presents 30 events in one large complex, Raw Space at 529 W. 42nd St. The three stages used at Raw Space are: L, M and the old Actors Studio Free Theatre. Theatre-goers may
choose from among four entertainments at any given time. There is a common box office at the front door of the complex which serves all venues. The selections range widely in subject - from cabaret, music, comedy
and serious plays.
Frank Calo is a three-time OOBR Award-winning producer who just came off of the Midtown International Theatre Festival as the Managing Producer for the second year running. He also ran Sage Theatre, Inc., out of Raw Space a couple of seasons ago.
Spotlight On has produced over 200 plays in the past 4 years within our festival walls. Our aim is to give budding playwrights a break. We offer playwrights and directors a chance to produce their works in an open minded and friendly environment. Many show have been workshopped and nurtured by Spotlight On and have gone to great success.
This festival boasts to be the LARGEST winter festival in New York!
